E Double D E Double D the Channel 4 UK flava mix DJ 2000 is one of the most talented and respected DJ's in the midlands, specialising in urban music. He has enjoyed a successful career spanning 10 years and continues to be in demand as both Club and radio DJ, playing a wide range of genres including Hip Hop, R'n'b, Neo-Soul & Broken Beat. His career began as a DJ for a sound system playing at parties and clubs throughout the midlands. E Double D then went on to work on numerous community and pirate radio stations, while still being a leading figure as a DJ in clubs throughout the UK. In 1995 he went on to be a mix DJ and guest presenter on Choice 102.2. Supporting some of the biggest names in the black music industry today, such as Ludacris, Del la Soul, Slum Village, Redman, Method Man and Kelis to name a few, E Double D's talent has also given him international recognition. He has made several appearances as tour DJ all over Europe, South Africa and most recently he has completed a successful, month-long DJ tour across Australia. Recently, E Double D has become DJ for the Kray Twinz, touring internationally with them on an ongoing basis. As well as being an excellent DJ, E Double D is equally in demand as a host. Keeping the crowds warmed up and lively with his huge personality before some of the biggest acts take the stage on their UK tours. Recent tours have including Sean Paul, Kelis, DMX and Twista. He also recently compered the launch of the new handheld games console, the Gizmondo, working with the likes of Tom Green, Danni Minogue, Lennox Lewis, Pharell and Busta Rhymes. E Double D has passion and drive for his love of music that, combined with his talent, will ensure his place in the industry and captivating audiences for many years to come. E Double D was also instrumental in establishing Punch's DJ workshops, delivering the very first workshops with Ammo. Because of this he has a unique place within Punch as a founding father for all we do and continues to influence Punch's development. |
