Djs for Life Wrist Bands hit London!!!! -- Well What a Showcase of the U.K's biggest & best Djs. Stars turned up to spin tunes all for the name of Myeloma U.K. Djs repping in the place included Trevor Nelson, Big Ted, Pogo, Cutmaster Swift, Matt White, Rapscallion, Normski, Boogie Bunch. All in honour of our friend & dj for life - Dj Swing. Wicked night!!!

Blakey

DJ Blakey, currently one of the UK's best underground DJ's and widely respected for skills and style that are far beyond his twenty years.

Unlike most of his counterparts he isn't just a turntablist. Blakey has been very active in the club scene, appearing at cutting edge clubs across the world; (Fabric/London, Rust/Copenhagen, RadostFX/Prague, Low Bap Festival/Athens, Club Xross/Tokyo, Labor/Hannover, Conrad Sohm/Dornbird, Electro Osho/Goetingen, Savannah/Ibiza, Vestax 2004 Championships/Poland, Club Mix/Beijing); whilst regularly holding down residencies at London clubs such as Bar Rumba, Sound, Herbal, 333, Fabric and a resident with Eclectic Breaks.

In July 2004, he ventured into the world of radio, and now hosts a weekly show on BBC's 1Xtra every Tuesday night, between the hours of midnight and 2am. In September 2005, he will be representing 1Xtra on BBC Radio 1, and will be rocking Friday nights, straight after Fabio & Grooverider, between 3 and 5am.

Blakey will also be releasing the next compilation in DMC's 'Champion Sounds' series, following on from Plus One (Scratch Perverts), DJ Skully (Kiss FM) and The Mixologists.

DJ Blakey is currently the hottest club and battle DJ on the UK circuit, competing on the DJ battle scene, claiming the 2004 UK Technics/DMC title, as well winning the UK DMC Team Championship as part of the âTruesicians' Crew in 2003.
