Punch has developed, over a number of years, a strong reputation for music-led arts workshops with children and young people. Originally focusing on DJ skills, the workshops have developed organically to include rhythm, song writing, music production, poetry, lyrics, dance, street art, photography and percussion. This has enabled Punch to work with young people from a cross section of ages and backgrounds, drawing on a range of arts practice appropriate to the environment and the needs of the workshop participants. In addition to our work with young people we also work with teachers to develop their skills and knowledge in these areas. We pride ourselves on delivering workshops in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment and have a strong reputation for developing projects that address social exclusion and participation. Please check the individual project sections for information on major workshop projects we have managed. If you would like to book music workshops contract Cynthia @ Punch on 0121 224 7444
Please note - the projects below represent a fraction of the workshops Punch has delivered. Since 1996, Punch has delivered over 5000 workshops in a range of settings and utilising a range of artforms.
