Workshop and consultancy project with Coca-Cola - Strategic
regional music development project working across 30 youth centres.
In 2002 Punch were approached by Coca-Cola to develop a DJ project with young people in Birmingham as part of their 'Music 4 You' project. Punch developed a project which comprised DJ sessions at youth centres across Birmingham, leading towards the development of a CD of the young people's music.
Punch also negotiated with Coca-Cola to broker their purchase of professional quality DJ equipment for each youth centre. Each youth centre was chosen on the basis that every young person in Birmingham would be able to travel to a workshop in one bus journey.
The project was launched at Orange Studio in Birmingham with a showcase event, filmed by the BBC.
