Shaun Cope is a renowned dancer, choreographer and performer dedicated to the development of progressive black dance, its appreciation and participation. His professional experience has taken him worldwide performing and choreographing for the stage, TV and video in the U.K, U.S.A, India and Dubai.
His self styled fusion of dance and movement, incorporating contemporary, African and street dance and martial arts movement has lead him to work with cutting edge contemporary music and dance artists throughout the UK.
In 2002 he choregraphed and performed the acclaimed 'Changing Hats', created with Mercury Music Prize nominated and MOBO winning jazz composer Soweto Kinch.
In 2004 he led the artistic development of Urban Tribes with Punch, receiving glowing praise from audiences as a fusion of text, music, film and movement.
Shaun also manages and promotes the successful Neo programme of dance, music and visual arts events.
