Nusra joined Punch in January 2008. Having a passion for the arts, music, and getting involved in festivals and events organising, she welcomed the opportunity to work for Punch to support their vision and the myriad of arts genres they promote. Her previous working background includes working as a HR Adviser at the BBC for the past 4 years, where she liaised with many freelancers and artists, and spent her time helping to organise and raise money at Children In Need events. Prior to this, she has worked as an Administrator for a hospitality training provider and in the areas of retail and marketing.
She has always had a strong involvement in the arts. In her spare time, she is studying a Foundation in Art and Design and loves metalwork, painting, and creating art from recycled materials. She also writes poetry and has had 6 of her poems published in the December 2007 edition of Red Ink Magazine.
