Punch is a dynamic artist led organisation, known throughout the UK as a promoter, producer, marketing agency and highly acclaimed arts education organisation. As well as a range of projects targeted at young people, Punch also commissions and produces work in a range of art forms including theatre, dance, music, visual arts and film. In addition to this we deliver a variety of marketing services and organise bespoke events and seminars.

The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining admin systems, keeping detailed records of all incoming and outgoing invoices and supporting the Punch’s project work. They will also prepare all financial records to assist the company bookkeeper. With access to confidential company records, we are looking for somebody responsible, trustworthy and with the ability to act with discretion.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Admin / Organisation
Office Management
Respond to all incoming calls
Running work errands for the team
Respond to letters and emails
Handling stationery requirements
Managing mail shots
Mail merging
Word-processing
Filing
Project Administration
Researching and booking venues.
Deal with correspondence relating to the project.
Maintaining contact databases (e.g. press and venue databases)
Project research
Respond to enquiries about Punch productions and events.
Assist Punch staff with compiling and disseminating project reports.
Accounting / Book Keeping
Sending invoices & statements
Receiving payments
Chasing payments
Booking keeping

Skill Requirements: ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Good oral communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Ability to take responsibility and act on own initiative.
• Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Health and Safety Awareness.
• Computer literate and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel & Word
• Accurate keyboard skills
• Excellent personal and office organisation skills
• Experience of developing and implementing effective administrative systems in a busy office environment
• Basic numeracy and ability to calculate percentages
• Self-motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards
• The flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands and new organisational challenges

£11,000 - £15,600 pro rota
