Steve Ball is Associate Director (Learning and Participation) at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. He was the founding artistic director of Language Alive and Catalyst Theatre in Health Education. He plays an active role in a number of organisations as a board member of Birmingham Pride Community Trust, Punch Records and St Paul's Community Development Trust. He is Chair at TYA UK, the UK Centre of ASSITEJ and Bright Space which leads on Creative Partnerships in Birmingham.
As Associate Director at the Birmingham REP Steve directs and produces work for children and young people, leads on learning and participation policy, manages a team of youth theatre directors and education officers and leads on a number of community engagement initiatives.
